**Job Summary**
We are looking for a skilled Production Supervisor – Afternoon Shift (3pm – 11pm) to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing production operations, ensuring product quality, food safety, manufacturing safety, and customer service requirements are met.
The ideal candidate will possess leadership experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry, with extensive practical knowledge in operations, safety, and HACCP standards.
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Maintaining accurate records of production activities.
- Conducting regular audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Developing and implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
- Providing coaching and guidance to production staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Participating in Continuous Improvement initiatives to improve Quality, Safety, and Productivity.
**Key Responsibilities**
The Production Supervisor will be responsible for:
- Leading production teams to achieve targets and objectives.
- Ensuring accurate tracking of production data and metrics.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and implement changes.
- Identifying areas for improvement and developing strategies to address them.
- Providing input on budget planning and forecasting.
**Skills and Qualifications**
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree or college diploma in Business Administration, Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven leadership experience in a similar role within the food manufacturing industry.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills (verbal/written).
- Experience in a fast-paced multi-tasking environment.
- Capability to organize, plan, and execute tasks reliably and independently.
