We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Family Physician to join our team at Imagine Health Centres.
Job Summary:The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, conducting routine surgeries, prescribing and administering medications, and delivering babies and providing pre-natal and post-natal care.
Key Responsibilities:- Prescribe and administer medications and treatments
- Perform and assist in routine surgery
- Inoculate and vaccinate patients to prevent and treat diseases
- Deliver babies and provide pre-natal and post-natal care
- Advise patients on health care
- Report births, deaths, contagious and other diseases to government authorities
- Be the patient advocate
- Co-ordinate or manage primary patient care
- Provide acute care management
- Provide counselling and support to patients and their families on a wide range of health and lifestyle issues
- Provide emergency care
- Supervise home care services
- Licentiate of the Medical Council of Canada (LMCC)
