The Senior Auditor is a key role within Citigroup Inc.'s Audit team, responsible for leading moderately complex audits and assessments of the company's risk and control environments. Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a small team of internal audit professionals in performing audits and assessments
  • Develop and implement audit plans, ensuring timely completion within budgeted timeframes and costs
  • Identify and assess emerging risks, recommending solutions to mitigate these risks
  • Contribute to the development of audit processes improvements, including the use of automated routines to enhance audit testing
  • Draft and present audit reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings and recommendations
  • Collaborate with business teams to develop practical solutions to risk and control issues
  • Apply knowledge of internal audit standards, policies, and local regulations to provide timely audit assurance
  • Develop and coach internal audit staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their roles effectively
Requirements:
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in internal audit or a related field
  • Excellent verbal, written, and negotiation skills
  • Strong project management and influencing skills
  • Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience
