The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Management Specialist to join our team at Maple Leaf Foods. As a key member of our Risk Management team, you will play a critical role in identifying and mitigating financial risks within the company.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the Company's operating units in risk identification and mitigation
  • Collaborate with the Risk Management team to develop and implement risk management strategies
  • Perform market analysis on foreign exchange, interest rate, and commodity markets
  • Work with operating units to monitor the Company's risk exposures and assist in the implementation of new hedging strategies
  • Lead reporting on risk management activities, including regular updates to Senior Management and Board of Directors
Requirements:
  • 4+ years of experience working in Treasury, Risk Analysis, with derivatives, or in another quantitative and detail-oriented field
  • Strong understanding of drivers and trends in foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate markets
  • 2+ years experience transacting in foreign exchange, commodity, and interest rate derivatives
  • Hold or have made substantial progress towards a professional designation (CPA, CFA, and FRM)
