Job Overview

The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the equipment in our plant, ensuring efficient operations and upholding our high standards of quality and safety. This role involves performing preventative maintenance tasks, completing assigned work orders, and collaborating with the Engineering and Maintenance manager to prioritize projects.

This opportunity is ideal for recently graduated or ticketed Millwrights looking to build their career in the food manufacturing industry. As a Maintenance Technician, you'll have the chance to execute responsibilities outlined in our Quality Management System, adhere to company GMP's, and maintain, repair, rebuild, or install production equipment and fixtures within your certification boundaries.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute preventative maintenance tasks as assigned
  • Complete assigned work orders, documenting time spent and parts used accordingly
  • Maintain, repair, rebuild, or install production equipment and fixtures within certification boundaries
  • Organize and manage spare parts inventories under the direction of your supervisor
  • Prioritize safety by adhering to safety policies, accident prevention measures, and compliance programs
Requirements
  • Trade Certification – Red Seal Millwright
  • Knowledge and ability to create neat, accurate, and legible reports
  • Ability to enter data into the computer/CMMS System
  • Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written)
