Job Title: MIG Welder

ABC FIRE DOOR LTD is seeking a skilled MIG welder to join our team. As a MIG welder, you will be responsible for fabricating and repairing metal parts and products using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Interpret welding process specifications and operate manual or semi-automatic welding equipment to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
  • Examine welds and ensure that they meet standards and/or specifications.
  • Operate manual or semi-automatic flame-cutting equipment and computer-aided design (CAD) software.
  • Determine weldability of materials and operate hoisting and lifting equipment.
  • Maintain and perform minor repairs on welding, brazing, and soldering equipment.
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Other trades certificate or diploma, or equivalent experience.
