Inventory Coordinator

We are currently seeking an Inventory Coordinator to join our Peterbilt dealership in London for an afternoon shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers in locating required parts, providing pricing, and completing online parts orders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Unload, receive, and store incoming parts and other materials in the warehouse and yard
  • Locate parts and other materials, and ship to customers and other branches
  • Provide assistance to branch service technicians as required
  • Place inventory stock orders
  • Make inventory and bin adjustments
  • Accurately and completely document and report all shipping, receiving, inventory, and stock information
  • Use parts and warehousing equipment and computer systems
  • Other duties as required

Requirements:

  • Effective Customer Service skills and able to build lasting partnerships with customers both over the phone and in person
  • Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak seasons; including working shifts, weekends, and holidays as required by operational needs
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Proven leadership and decision-making skills required
  • Ability to work without direct supervision
  • Must be able to work in a high-pressure environment safely
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, and company policies and procedures
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, customers, and the general public
  • Effective problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Solid foundation of parts/warehousing knowledge and skills
  • Previous experience in the parts industry preferred
  • Journeyperson Certification is considered an asset
  • Experience working within the Heavy Duty Truck, fabrication, and/or manufacturing industry considered an asset but not required

$45,000 - $60,000 per annum based on qualifications and experience
