About the Role
Ricardo plc is a global leader in strategic, environmental, and engineering consulting. We are seeking a highly skilled HSEQ Contract Advisor to join our team on a part-time contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert guidance on QMS and HSE matters to management and staff, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor, report, and investigate incidents and hazardous occurrences, facilitating timely interventions and preventative measures.
- Deliver comprehensive monthly reports on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to quality, health, safety, and environmental performance.
- Ensure strict adherence to all relevant legislation by establishing and updating policies, procedures, and guidance materials as needed.
- Offer specialized QMS and HSE support for client bids and ongoing projects, ensuring compliance and excellence in delivery.
- Conduct thorough internal audits to maintain and enhance the effectiveness of our management systems.
- Coordinate and participate in site emergency exercises, contributing to robust Business Continuity Planning procedures.
- Facilitate local and North America joint QMS and HSE meetings to drive collective success in QMS and HSE initiatives.
- Lead initiatives to monitor, report, and minimize A&I's environmental impact, driving sustainability efforts and promoting responsible environmental practices.
- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to drive continual improvement across all facets of QMS and HSE and management systems.
Essential Skills and Behaviors:
- Currently working to or with OSHA qualification, environmental knowledge, and QMS knowledge.
- Positive attitude and belief in the benefits of a good QMS Advisor.
- Report with honesty and integrity.
- Proficiency in ISO 14001:2015, ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001:2018, and energy management.
- Familiarity with OSHA/CCOHS including specific state requirements.
