Job Summary

The Materials Handler 2 plays a critical role in maintaining adequate stock levels in all clinical areas, ensuring seamless supply chain operations. This position requires strong communication and organizational skills to effectively liaison between Logistics Materials Management and user areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate inventory levels and perform regular stock replenishment tasks
  • Act as a liaison between Logistics and user areas to monitor and replenish stock as required
  • Operate power equipment and carts, including pallet trucks, to facilitate efficient inventory management
  • Coordinate the distribution of vendor direct purchases made by the program
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize inventory management and supply chain processes

Requirements

  • Grade 12 or equivalent
  • Demonstrated computer skills and experience with hospital materials management systems
  • Knowledge of stores inventory systems and barcoding
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
