Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Heavy Duty Vehicle Operator to join our team at Chapman Bros. Construction Ltd.
About the Role
This is a hands-on opportunity to work with various heavy-duty vehicles and equipment, ensuring they are well-maintained and ready for operation.
Main Responsibilities
- Check, lubricate, refuel, and clean equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Operate a range of heavy-duty vehicles, including snowploughs, in a physically demanding environment.
- Report any malfunctions or issues to the supervisor promptly.
Requirements
- Class 3/3F/DF Licence (trailer truck, vehicles with more than 3 axles) is essential for this role.
- Previous experience working with heavy-duty vehicles and equipment is highly desirable.
- A valid driving record and ability to pass a background check are mandatory.
Working Conditions
The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment with variable weather conditions.
Compensation Package
We offer a competitive salary, estimated to be around $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience, to attract top talent in this field.
