Job Title: Carpenter/Charpentier

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern New Brunswick. As a key member of our construction division, you will be responsible for executing projects with precision and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
  • Measure and calculate material needs, ensuring accurate cuts and installations
  • Construct window frames, doors, staircases, and building frames using raw materials or pre-fabricated components
  • Lay out flooring, roofing, and drywall, ensuring proper leveling and compatibility
  • Assemble and install furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items as designated
  • Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance as needed
  • Build scaffolding and other construction structures to support project needs
  • Provide exceptional customer service and ensure timely project completion
  • Communicate daily schedules and project updates to internal personnel
  • Demonstrate expertise in company products and services
  • Ensure a safe and clean work environment, adhering to health and safety protocols
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a lead carpenter role
  • Construction experience in disaster restoration industry considered an asset
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with moderate physical exertion
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
