Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our team at ServiceMaster Restore of Northern NB. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for executing construction division projects in a diverse setting. If you have a strong background in carpentry and a passion for delivering exceptional results, we encourage you to apply.

Key Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements
• Take precise measurements and calculate material needs
• Cut, shape, and smooth lumber and other materials according to specifications
• Build window frames, doors, staircases, and frame buildings using raw materials or pre-constructed items
• Lay out flooring, roofing, or drywall, ensuring they are level and compatible
• Assemble furniture, cabinets, shelves, and other items and install them as designated
• Inspect sites and conduct repairs or maintenance
• Build scaffolding and other construction structures
• Provide excellent customer service and ensure timely completion of projects

Requirements:

• Minimum three (2) years of experience in a lead carpenter role
• Construction experience in the disaster restoration industry is considered an asset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Physical stamina to perform moderate to heavy lifting and bending
