Empire Communities is seeking a skilled Senior Estimator to join our High-Rise Procurement Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in developing and implementing standards, procedures, and methodologies to optimize construction cost planning and budget management practices.
This position involves providing cost consulting, quantity take-offs, and full project construction budgeting support. You will work closely with management to implement strategies and provide leadership, guidance, coaching, and mentoring to team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review and provide guidance on measurement of project statistics and functional areas.
- Develop and maintain a practical understanding of high-rise construction methodology.
- Prepare and complete trade and elemental take-offs based on preliminary design documents.
- Prepare and complete trade and elemental take-offs based on tender/construction documents.
- Apply advanced understanding of factors influencing construction costs and apply that knowledge to pricing estimates.
- Complete estimates and reports ready for sign-off.
- Prepare and analyze general condition breakdown.
