This role is part of the rekindle returnship program, offering a chance to restart your career with Amazon's Analytics and Science Team (AST).

IES Shopping Experience organization aims to embed a data culture deeply, fostering invention through insights and building a robust data architecture. We spin the insights flywheel by growing a pool of bar-raisers and diverse data professionals, empowering us to continuously enhance our data capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work in a large-scale data warehouse environment using complex data structures and processing systems.
  2. Build scalable data analytics solutions to address increasingly complex business needs, leveraging big data technologies like Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR.
  3. Implement stable, fault-tolerant, self-healing, and adaptive data flow solutions from production systems into end-user applications and reports.
  4. Collaborate with stakeholders to define key questions and build data solutions that meet their needs, owning the customer relationship around data.

Estimated Salary:$188,000 per year

Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience in data engineering, including experience with SQL, data modeling, warehousing, and ETL pipelines.
  • Experience with query languages like SQL, PL/SQL, DDL, MDX, HiveQL, SparkSQL, Scala.
  • Experience with scripting languages like Python, KornShell.
  • Familiarity with big data technologies, ETL tools, and cloud-based platforms.
