Job Summary

We are seeking a Labourer to join our team based in Crescent Valley, BC. As a Labourer, you will be responsible for performing general laborer duties associated with road construction, including shoveling, raking, and handling small tools.



Duties/Tasks

  • Perform general laborer duties such as shoveling, raking, and handling small tools.
  • Operate equipment as needed.
  • Cleanup equipment as needed.
  • Signal operators of construction equipment to facilitate alignment and movement of materials.
  • Assist in the placement, moving, and dismantling of signs, barricades, cones, and other traffic control devices.
  • Follow instructions from your supervisor or manager.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Requirements

The ideal candidate should have a Class 5 Drivers License or equivalent and previous experience on a road construction crew is an asset.

Work Environment

As a Labourer, you will be working outdoors in a fast-paced environment that requires physical ability to repetitively lift and carry at least 50 LBS on a regular basis. You must also comply with the company's drug and alcohol testing requirements.



Estimated Salary

$60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.
