The Communications Professional will be responsible for:

  • Enterprise Storytelling, including Ford Model e Communications, focused on shaping the future of EVs;
  • Ford Blue Communications, focused on iconic ICE (internal combustion engine) vehicles;
  • Ford Pro Communications, supporting Ford's industry-leading commercial vehicle business;
  • Media Fleet Management and Administration.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • 3-5 years of relevant work experience in Brand and/or Corporate Communications;
  • Relevant educational background in communications, public relations, journalism, media studies/media relations, marketing, or advertising;

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Project and program management skills;
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills;
  • Ability to work as a member of a team;
  • Initiative to deliver high-quality work that produces impactful results;
  • Strong writing, editing, reporting, and verbal communications skills;
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables concurrently;
  • Strong proficiency in digital and social media tools;
  • News reporting or editing experience;
  • Ability to develop innovative approaches to engaging audiences;
  • A self-starter with the ability to balance strategic thinking with plan development and execution;
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to cultivate relationships with colleagues with diverse backgrounds and cultures;
  • Automotive industry knowledge and demonstrated media relations experience is an asset;
  • Bilingual (English/French) is an asset.
