The successful candidate will have the opportunity to conceive, design, and implement complex automation projects, including programming of PLCs, HMIs, motion controllers, CNCs, and robotic systems.
As a key member of the CSIC team, the candidate will support activities in acquiring new customers and maintaining positive relationships with existing customers. The candidate must observe all safety rules and guide/train junior systems specialists. Travel within the US may be required.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of turnkey projects as assigned
- Responsible for all aspects of an automation controls project from initial planning, design, and development, implementation, testing, commissioning to documentation
- Work effectively with other team members, vendors, and subcontractors
- Work with clients to define and develop project scope of work and maintain ongoing communication
- Meet project objectives in a timely manner
- Ability to attend field service and emergency calls
- A four-year degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronic Engineering, or equivalent
- Previous experience with CNC, PLC, Visual Basic, and the ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings are assets
- Previous experience with Siemens applications is an asset
- Project management experience is an asset
- Excellent English: Both oral and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
