We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging department at Swan Hills Health Centre. As a Senior Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Supervisor, you will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of department staff and services.
Key Responsibilities- Direct and supervise the day-to-day operation of department staff and services.
- Coordinate, organize, and operate the site Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments.
- Perform site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, cardiology procedures, and related duties.
- Ensure compliance with established standards and practices defined by the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT), College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta (CPSA), and Health Professions Act.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
This is a regular part-time position with a 0.80 FTE. The successful candidate will work a variety of shifts, including days and on-call shifts. The position requires a high level of flexibility and adaptability.
CompensationThe salary for this position ranges from $37.18 to $47.77 per hour.
