Senior Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging Specialist

As a key member of the Swan Hills Health Centre team, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist II to lead our Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging department. The successful candidate will be responsible for directing and supervising the day-to-day operations of department staff and services, ensuring the highest standards of quality and patient care.
Key Responsibilities:- Coordinate and organize the operation of the Laboratory and Diagnostic Imaging departments, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow.
- Supervise and direct department staff, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Perform site-specific manual and automated laboratory procedures, diagnostic imaging exams, and cardiology procedures, adhering to established standards and practices.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure effective communication and coordination of patient care.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
- Completion of a diploma from an accredited program in Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technology (CLXT).
- Active or eligible for registration with the Alberta College of Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologists (ACCLXT).
- Experience in a leadership or supervisory role in a laboratory or diagnostic imaging setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A competitive salary range of $37.18 to $47.77 per hour.
