Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Northern Health Authority. As a key member of our Respiratory Services department, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the development of our respiratory therapy program.
Key Responsibilities- Assess and treat patients with respiratory disorders, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive patient care and education.
- Conduct pulmonary function tests and interpret results to diagnose and manage respiratory conditions.
- Provide education and support to patients and families on respiratory health and disease management.
- Graduation from a recognized Respiratory Therapy program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Society of Respiratory Therapists (CSRT) and eligible for registration.
- Current valid BC Driver's License as required in the specific practice area.
