Job Title: Food Service Team Lead

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Team Lead to join our team at West Coast Catering. As a Food Service Team Lead, you will be responsible for supervising and coordinating the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, as well as training staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food
  • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
  • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Hire food service staff
  • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns
  • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Prepare food order summaries for the chef

Work Environment: Our fast-paced environment requires a team player who can work under pressure and maintain a high level of quality in their work.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need to have a secondary (high) school graduation certificate and at least 7 months of experience in a food service establishment. You must also be able to work 40 hours per week and have a strong understanding of the establishment's culinary genres.
