Senior SAP Technical Architect

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Technical Architect to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our SAP landscape, ensuring the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, and driving the adoption of cloud architecture, data science, and analytics platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our current and future technology platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and cloud integration.
- Lead cross-functional teams through troubleshooting, investigation, and analysis of system problems, and develop solutions to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
- Partner with Data Owners, Product Owners, Domain Architects, and Program teams to understand business requirements and propose best-in-class technical solutions.
- Ensure technical integrity of projects, leveraging common technical elements and avoiding duplicated work.
- Build strong relationships with SAP and other partners to advance our technology landscape.
- 10+ years of experience in IT and SAP, with 7+ years in SAP Basis and 5+ years in SAP HANA and cloud computing.
- Practical skills in S/4 HANA migration strategy and integration, as well as a good understanding of SAP Fiori capabilities and applicability.
- Experience in developing, planning, and implementing corporate technology strategy, with a focus on aviation industry best practices.
- Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
