About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior SAP Technical Architect to join our team at Bombardier Transportation GmbH. As a key member of our IT organization, you will be responsible for leading the technical direction of our SAP landscape, ensuring the successful implementation of SAP S/4HANA, and driving the adoption of cloud architecture, data science, and analytics platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of our current and future technology platforms, including SAP S/4HANA, SAP Fiori, and cloud integration.
  • Lead cross-functional teams through troubleshooting, investigation, and analysis of system problems, and develop solutions to improve Total Cost of Ownership (TCO).
  • Partner with Data Owners, Product Owners, and Domain Architects to understand business requirements and propose best-in-class technical solutions.
  • Support the implementation of SAP S/4HANA, including providing technical and integration expertise, guidance, and collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Build strong relationships with SAP and other partners to advance our technology landscape.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in IT and SAP, with a strong background in SAP Basis and SAP HANA.
  • Experience in developing, planning, and implementing corporate technology strategy, with a focus on SAP S/4HANA migration and integration.
  • Practical skills in S/4HANA migration strategy and integration, as well as a good understanding of SAP Fiori capabilities and applicability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with strong communication and collaboration skills.
