As a Project Coordinator at Graham, you will play a vital role in the coordination, scheduling, quantity surveying, reporting, and quality control functions of a project. This is a task-based role that requires working knowledge of core elements of construction projects. You will work closely with Project Managers and Superintendents to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

Responsibilities include:

  • Updating schedules and budgets, maintaining cost control, and monitoring labor, material, and equipment activities on the project.
  • Working with Project Managers and Superintendents to update project schedules and budgets to identify potential construction issues.
  • Assisting with the review and coordination of project-specific safety plans.
  • Attending and documenting project team meetings, action items, and other pertinent project deliverables and decisions.
  • Monitoring project change management processes, identifying change events, submitting change notices, tracking changes, and presenting to the Project Manager when required.
  • Providing timely progress reports to Project Managers.
  • Monitoring and updating schedules with the assistance of the team.
  • Assisting with drawings, drawing records, revisions, site instructions, and change orders.
  • Obtaining and providing written documentation for all project clarifications and instructions.

Qualifications and experience:

  • 2-3 years of direct construction experience.
  • Trade certification or technical diploma/degree in engineering or a related field is required.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite.
  • Proficient using scheduling and project management software.
  • Demonstrates general knowledge of and increasing familiarity with the core elements of a construction project, including systems, practices, and processes of project management.
