We are seeking a skilled Heavy Truck Technician to join our team at Peterbilt Atlantic. As a Heavy Truck Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers by ensuring their vehicles are in top working condition.
Key Responsibilities- Provide assistance to the Service Department for vehicles and equipment.
- Observe, listen, and learn from experienced Diesel Technicians.
- Follow checklists to ensure all critical parts are examined.
- Examine and adjust protective guards, loose bolts, and specified safety devices on trucks as needed.
- Test-drive vehicles to ensure they run smoothly.
- Tag all warranty parts and returns to the Warranty Clerk.
- Attend training classes and stay up-to-date on factory technical bulletins.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with customers to increase overall customer satisfaction.
- Self-motivated and professional individual with a strong customer service background.
- Licensed or registered apprentice with experience in the heavy duty truck industry.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
