Farm Credit Canada is seeking a skilled Agricultural Relationship Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with local producers and developing a loan portfolio.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with customers to create customized financing solutions that meet their business needs
  • Build and maintain relationships with Farm Credit Canada customers and internal partners
  • Identify opportunities to grow your loan portfolio and contribute to the growth of our organization
  • Travel to visit customers on their farms or in their offices to provide exceptional customer service
  • Analyze customer financial information to make informed lending decisions
  • Create, process, and approve new credit facilities to support the growth of our customers' businesses

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to connect with customers and build strong relationships
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities
  • Self-motivated and results-driven, with a passion for agriculture and a desire to make a meaningful contribution to our organization
  • Relevant education and experience in agriculture, business, or a related field, with a minimum of one year of experience in agricultural finance or sales
