About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team at Ironwood Auto Service Ltd. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our commercial transport truck systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and Test Mechanical Units: Conduct thorough inspections and tests to identify faults and malfunctions in mechanical units.
  • Repair and Replace Parts: Repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems, as well as automotive systems.
  • Perform Scheduled Maintenance: Carry out scheduled maintenance services to ensure the optimal performance of our vehicles.
  • Test and Adjust Units: Test and adjust units to specifications, ensuring they meet the required standards.
  • Advise Customers: Provide expert advice to customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
  • Coach and Instruct Apprentices: Share your knowledge and skills with apprentices, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a related field.
  • Language: Fluency in English.
