About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Lube Technician to join our team at OpenRoad Auto Group.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform thorough checks of customers' vehicles to identify any maintenance or repair needs.
  • Recommend necessary maintenance and repairs to the Service Advisor.
  • Check and fill fluids, including draining the oil and replacing oil filters.
  • Provide tire service, including repair and replacement.
  • Examine and replace various parts as needed.
  • Perform general shop duties as assigned by the department manager and shop foreman.
Requirements
  • Commitment to delivering high-quality work in every task.
  • Self-motivation and enthusiasm for the automotive industry.
  • Well-developed interpersonal skills to effectively work with other members of the Service Department team.
  • Effective communication skills to ensure customers' needs and requests are expressed by management and the parts team.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in an automotive shop.
  • A valid B.C. driver's license is required, and the ability to provide a clean driver's abstract.
