Fire Sprinkler Installation Specialist

Job Summary:

Fire Safety and Protection LLC is seeking a skilled Sprinkler Fitter to join our team. As a Sprinkler Fitter, you will be responsible for coordinating with the Labour Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure the successful completion of assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with the Labour Supervisor/Project Manager to ensure efficient and cost-effective project completion.
  • Implement quality and safety controls to maintain a safe work environment and deliver superior installation quality.
  • Manage company-issued vehicles, equipment, and tools, ensuring their proper use and maintenance.
  • Submit weekly timesheets to the Payroll Department on time.
  • Attend pre-construction, coordination, and job progress meetings to ensure project understanding and communication.
  • Coordinate with the Labour Supervisor and Project Manager to ensure timely material delivery and project start.
  • Participate in in-house meetings and training, contributing to improvement recommendations.
  • Assist in developing and training field personnel in good installation procedures.
  • Provide technical consultation and support to company apprentices, technicians, designers, and shop employees.
  • Perform other duties assigned by the Labour Supervisor and/or Project Manager.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience installing sprinkler/fire protection systems.
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record and no DUI convictions.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand or climb stairs and ladders for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 40 pounds without assistance.
