We are seeking a skilled Culinary Artist to join our team at Blend Kitchen and Bar. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for planning menus, estimating food requirements, and managing kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities- Menu Planning and Execution
- Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our customers
- Estimate food requirements and manage inventory to minimize waste
- Kitchen Operations Management
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of complete meals and individual dishes
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety
- Maintain accurate records of food, supplies, and equipment
- Team Collaboration
- Work closely with our culinary team to ensure seamless kitchen operations
- Communicate effectively with staff to resolve any issues or concerns
- Education and Experience
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
- Work Environment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
