Building Electrical Engineer

About the Role
We're seeking a skilled Building Electrical Engineer to join our team in Eastern Quebec. As a key member of our engineering team, you'll be responsible for designing electrical systems, conducting surveys, and assisting with projects across various sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Design electrical distribution systems, lighting, and fire alarms for buildings.
- Determine construction costs and quantities in accordance with standard methods and established plans and specifications.
- Conduct surveys and studies, and write technical reports.
- Help solve technical problems and prepare progress reports.
- Act as a resource person for the technical team and participate in partial supervision of construction work.
- Attend client meetings and prepare fee budgets.
Requirements
- University diploma in building engineering.
- A minimum of five years' relevant experience.
- Membre of the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec (OIQ).
- ASP Construction card.
- LEED accreditation or knowledge of sustainable development and energy efficiency principles (an asset).
- Working knowledge of Revit software (an asset).
- Proficiency in spoken and written French.
- Good command in English (an asset).
- Valid driver's licence and access to a vehicle (an asset).
