About the Role: As a Radiology Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for operating medical imaging equipment, taking high-quality images of patients, and providing exceptional patient care. This is a permanent part-time position, working in our busy Magnetic Resonance Imaging unit.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate and maintain various types of medical imaging equipment, including MRI machines
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, ensuring they are comfortable and secure
  • Take high-quality images of patients, following established protocols and guidelines
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective treatment plans
  • Provide excellent patient care, responding to patient needs and concerns in a professional and compassionate manner

Requirements:

  • Completion of a Medical Radiation Technologist program or equivalent experience
  • Registered with the College of Medical Radiation Technologists of Ontario (CMRTO)
  • Valid CPR certification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
