Job Title: Grill Cook

RICKY'S ALL DAY GRILL is seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our kitchen team. As a Grill Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization
  • Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
  • Order supplies and equipment as needed
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient and safe food preparation
  • Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
  • Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment
  • Manage kitchen operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain attention to detail
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic kitchen environment
Working Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly and safely in the kitchen
Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus and ability to provide excellent customer service
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a dynamic kitchen environment
  • Organized and reliable with strong attention to detail
  • Team player with excellent communication and teamwork skills
Experience:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a kitchen environment
