About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Grill Cook to join our team at RICKY'S ALL DAY GRILL. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and cook a variety of dishes, including meats, vegetables, and sides, to meet the demands of our busy restaurant.
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and organization.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff and helpers to maintain high levels of quality and efficiency.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure seamless kitchen operations.
  • Clean and maintain kitchen and work areas to meet health and safety standards.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills to train and supervise staff.
  • Ability to maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities
  • Ability to work in a hot and fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy objects and equipment.
  • Ability to stand for long periods and move quickly around the kitchen.
