Job Title: Buyer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Buyer to join our team at GoMaterials. As a Buyer, you will play a crucial role in managing the procurement process, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of materials to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the procurement process from quote to delivery, ensuring product quality, competitive pricing, and consistent service levels.
  • Negotiate with suppliers to maximize profits and ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Foster strong relationships with suppliers to ensure timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Monitor and analyze inventory levels to optimize stock management and reduce waste.
  • Perform additional tasks as needed to support the procurement team.
Requirements:
  • 2 years of experience in a fast-paced work environment, preferably in procurement or supply chain management.
  • 2-3 years of experience in operations or customer service, with a focus on logistics and inventory management.
  • College degree in logistics management, a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Written and spoken proficiency in English and French (an asset).
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
