Job Title: Loss Prevention Supervisor


We are seeking a highly skilled Loss Prevention Supervisor to join our team at Tiffany & Co. This is a full-time position based in GTA, Canada, with an estimated salary range of $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience.



About the Role:


The Loss Prevention Supervisor will play a critical role in supporting the Security Management by leading, developing, and supporting security team members to meet and/or exceed the mission of the Global Protection Department. Key responsibilities include:



  • Ensuring Global Protection Standards are maintained.
  • Leading and motivating the security team(s) to consistently focus on main drivers of security culture such as MPS, door coverage, employee awareness training, and safety.
  • Partnering with Operations and Security Management to identify shrink reduction opportunities.
  • Optimizing security schedules to maximize coverage during peak hours, events, overnight coverage, facilities support, etc.
  • Supporting Emergency Preparedness and Incident Management efforts (Tiffany Prepared), including serving as the point person during an emergency.


Physical Security:


In close partnership with the Security Manager, the Loss Prevention Supervisor will ensure that physical security systems and equipment are functioning to expectations. Responsibilities include:



  • Ensuring that all physical security systems and maintenance schedules are to standard, including CCTV, alarms, radios, locks, keys, perimeter doors/gates, etc.
  • Initiating and following up on all repairs as necessary.
  • Conducting vulnerability evaluations or other tasks as directed by the Security Management.


Sales and Service Excellence:


The Loss Prevention Supervisor will also contribute to Sales and Service Excellence by:



  • Deepening the relationship with our clients to drive lifetime loyalty and overall spend.
  • Managing the security team to act as a Tiffany luxury security professional with a customer-centric approach.
  • Partnering with store management to lead store initiatives and cross-functionality, which provides an elevated/exceptional client experience.
  • Coaching staff to enhance the customer experience by acknowledging clients as they enter and leave the store, providing each customer with a consistent and gracious greeting.
  • Projecting a professional and calm demeanor while dealing with clients and employees regardless of the situation.


Qualifications:


To be successful in this role, you must possess:



  • A valid security license.
  • A high school diploma.
  • The ability to work retail store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • The highest level of integrity.
  • The ability to communicate with customers and employees both verbally and written.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Authorization to work in Canada or the country where the position is based.


Preferred Qualifications:


While not required, relevant experience in a retail/security environment and one to two years of prior experience in a security-related position with an emphasis on customer service would be an asset.
