About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Labourer to join our team at Maple Leaf Marinas Holdings G.P. Inc. as a key member of our site operations team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Site Preparation: Assist in preparing construction sites by loading, unloading, and transporting materials as required.
  • Formwork and Scaffolding: Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks, shoring, and barricades to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Material Handling: Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt to meet project specifications.
  • Assistance with Construction: Assist in framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs to meet project deadlines.
  • Demolition and Debris Removal: Assist in demolishing buildings and cleaning up debris to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Housekeeping: Clean and pile salvaged materials and clean up chemical spills and other contaminants to maintain a safe working environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
  • Work Conditions: This role requires working in a physically demanding environment with varying weather conditions.
  • Attention to Detail: Maintain attention to detail to ensure accurate and safe completion of tasks.
  • Hand-Eye Coordination: Demonstrate good hand-eye coordination to perform tasks that require manual dexterity.
  • Work Schedule: Work a standard 40-hour week with occasional overtime as required.
  • Language: English is the primary language of communication in this role.
