About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Community Outreach Specialist. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for creating and fostering a culture of hospitality through exceptional customer experiences and building enduring relationships both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create and implement strategies to drive sales and service metrics in key measurable areas, including clientelling/outreach, appointment setting, and Talbots Classic Awards.
  • Plan and prioritize tasks and responsibilities to meet the needs of the customer, ensuring a seamless and personalized experience.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, including active use of Concierge, to build trust and loyalty.
  • Stay up-to-date on current products and fashion trends to effectively communicate with customers and inspire their wardrobe choices.
  • Participate in community/store activities and events that promote Talbots and enhance the customer experience.
  • Lead/supervise others on occasion and open/close the store as needed.
Requirements
  • Driven to create, build, and cultivate relationships with customers and the community, with a focus on prospecting and establishing a strong clientele.
  • Possesses a strong ambition and passion for achieving goals, both as an individual and as a member of the store team, and thrives working in a team environment.
  • Able to work cooperatively in a diverse work environment and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrates strong planning and organizational skills to proactively contact clientele with the intent to sell in a way that is relevant, timely, and meaningful.
  • Available at least 20 hours per week and able to work a flexible schedule based on the needs of the business, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
