About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Child Caregiver to join our team at Zita Smith. As a Child Caregiver, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children in a family setting.

Key Responsibilities
  • Child Care and Supervision: Provide one-on-one care and supervision to children, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and putting them to bed.
  • Household Management: Assume full responsibility for household management, including cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Education and Development: Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development, and help them with homework and other educational activities.
  • Health and Safety: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, including administering medication and providing first aid when necessary.
  • Transportation: Take children to and from school, appointments, and other activities as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Certifications: Emergency child care first aid and CPR, CPR Certificate, and First Aid Certificate.
  • Language: English.
