Public Area Attendant Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team at the Four Points by Sheraton - Kelowna Airport. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our public spaces, ensuring a positive experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain a neat and tidy appearance, adhering to our hotel's uniform standards.
  • Arrive on time for shifts and be prepared to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Perform heavy cleaning duties, including vacuuming, dusting, and polishing.
  • Assist with guest requests and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Identify and report maintenance issues in public areas.
  • Work varied shifts, including days, weekends, and holidays.
Requirements:
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure and multitask.
  • Good time management skills and ability to work independently.
  • Basic maintenance skills, including plumbing and TV troubleshooting.
