Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and Coordinate Staff: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Train and Develop Staff: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, and provide ongoing support and guidance to ensure they are meeting the required standards.
  • Estimate and Order Supplies: Estimate the ingredients and supplies required for meal preparation and ensure that they are ordered in a timely manner.
  • Manage Budget and Reports: Prepare and manage the budget for the food service department, and prepare reports on sales, stock, and wastage.
  • Ensure Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, and address any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
