As a Software Engineering Co-op Student at AMD, you will have the opportunity to contribute to our next-generation technology innovations. Key Responsibilities
  • Participate in code and design reviews to ensure efficient and quality code.
  • Create differentiating software features, such as high-performance computing and efficient computing with next-gen Ryzen/Radeon Graphics chips.
  • Develop software skills in C/C++, Object-Oriented Design, Qt, Javascript, and other relevant technologies.
  • Work on various software engineering projects, including application, kernel, graphics, and AI development.
Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in a Canada-based University in a Bachelor's degree program majoring in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, Software Development, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++, with experience in Object-Oriented Design and relevant frameworks.
  • Knowledge of operating systems concepts, including memory management, multithreading, assembly, and x86.
  • Experience with computer graphics pipelines, computer architecture, and/or firmware development.
  • Proficiency in version control tools, such as Git/Github, Perforce, and other relevant tools.
