Co-op Program OverviewThe 13-week Cognizant Co-op is a unique opportunity to learn, code, and discover. You will partner with key stakeholders from one of our Business Units to tackle a real-world software engineering challenge, culminating in a capstone project presentation to our Leadership team.
What You'll Do- Learn: You will begin with 6-weeks of customized, world-class training in areas such as GenAI, Java/.Net Full Stack.
- Code: Along with other top Canadian students, you will work on a real-world software engineering challenge.
- Discover: With frequent networking, guidance, and mentorship from members of our BU and Corporate teams, you can explore your passion for technology and AI beyond the borders of the co-op.
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Ability to work full-time, 40-hour per week for 13-weeks for the duration of the co-op.
- Some experience in solution architecture, software engineering, or related field is preferred but not required.
We strive to provide flexibility wherever possible, and we are here to support a healthy work-life balance through our various wellbeing programs. This is an onsite position requiring 5 days a week in a client or Cognizant office in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
