Credit Risk Manager for Small Business

About the Role
This position is responsible for analyzing credit submissions, financial disclosures, and pertinent documentation within risk tolerances.
- Effectively analyze credit submissions, financial disclosures, and pertinent documentation, within risk tolerances
- Apply advanced credit judgement, usage of the applicable five C's of credit, and ensuring consistent application of policies and processes are analyzed and documented.
- Adjudicate within established limits and exception authority and present quality recommendations on requests above established limits.
- Analyze credit reviews and apply corrective action where appropriate.
- Ensure all partner interactions are professional, respectful, and value added.
- Provide recommendations/alternative solutions, and restructure credit requests, with coaching/direction to partners as required.
- Act with a sense of urgency in response to partner requests to meet customer expectations.
- Deliver against established ACE Service Level Agreement targets.
- Contribute to the growth and quality of the Small Business Credit portfolio.
- Clearly identify risks and exceptions using strong rationale and associated mitigants to support the decision.
- Operate within the Bank's risk appetite and culture in day-to-day activities and decisions.
- Maintain acceptable application review ratings from internal quality assurance and audit.
Requirements
We are seeking a professional with a comprehensive knowledge of the Bank's Small Business products/services, expert understanding of the Bank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, credit structuring, collateral, and security documentation and registration.

- An expert understanding of the Bank lending policies and procedures, financial analysis, risk assessment techniques, credit structuring, collateral, and security documentation and registration
- Intermediate accounting and financial statement analysis
- Strong analytical and problem resolution skills
- Strong team player and skillful in developing harmonious relationships with Unit team members and stakeholders
- Strong communication skills, written and verbal, in order to produce informative, concise, and professional credit replies, presentations, and correspondence (Bilingual preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively and efficiently to meet the demands of a high-volume work environment
