S I Systems is seeking a skilled Junior System Administrator to provide support for the upgrade and optimization of their enterprise level systems.

**About the Role:**

Our valued client is a leading provider of public sector services, responsible for the key operations of various departments. As a System Administrator, you will play a critical role in assisting with the day-to-day activities and participating in various projects related to performance tuning, system maintenance, troubleshooting, installations & upgrades, cluster configuration & administration, monitoring, and automation.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Provide daily systems administration operational support functions, monitor systems, respond to client requests, troubleshoot and resolve systems issues.
  • Install, configure, and patch server software across a distributed platform environment.
  • Develop, implement, and tune the distributed platform, including storage, based on client performance and operational requirements.
  • Monitor the cluster for resource and capacity availability, performance, resource utilization, alarms, and proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues as they arise.

**Requirements:**

  • Elastic Search implementation experience.
