Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director to join our team. As an Associate Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of loan monitoring professionals and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients.
Key Responsibilities:- Loan Monitoring: Prepare, review, and assure loan monitoring reports, including preliminary and monthly reports.
- Team Leadership: Lead a team of loan monitoring professionals, providing guidance and support to ensure they deliver on their accountabilities.
- Progress Claim Reports: Conduct regular assessments of progress claim reports, including submitting invoices, evaluating changes, analyzing on-site progress, and recommending loan disbursements.
- Payment Requests: Review and certify payment requests to ensure accuracy, compliance with contractual terms, and proper documentation.
- Pro Forma Budgets: Develop and analyze pro forma budgets to ensure alignment with market conditions and contractual requirements.
- Market Research: Conduct research on construction market conditions throughout the region, including analysis of official published data.
- New Business Opportunities: Develop and pursue new business opportunities with existing and new clients.
- Proposal Development: Lead the development of proposals for new work or variations for existing commissions.
- Networking: Attend relevant networking events and other promotional opportunities.
- Financial Management: Utilize financial tools to track margin levels and monthly fee/resource forecasts for each commission and the overall service.
- Staff Management: Provide performance reviews of loan monitoring staff and manage the recruitment process, including interviews.
- Knowledge Management: Ensure that key information and learning generated from each commission is input into the Turner & Townsend internal database.
- Experience: + 6 years of relevant experience in loan monitoring and a minimum of 3 years of management experience with the ability to mentor a team of 3+ members.
- Education: Recognized university degree.
- Certifications: Certification in relevant professional organizations (PQS/MRICS).
- Skills: Effectively able to pivot between a delivery and management role.
- Eligibility: Eligibility to work in Canada.
