Sustainability Internship Opportunity

The ideal candidate will provide a strong supporting function to the Senior Manager, Sustainability & ESG. Key responsibilities include:
- Preparing submissions for Green Building Certifications, such as BOMA, LEED, Fitwel, and WELL.
- Assisting with data collection for annual energy & water consumption reporting, utilizing tools like Energy Star Portfolio Manager, Energy/Water Reporting and Benchmarking (EWRB) in Ontario, Global Real Estate Sustainability Benchmark (GRESB), etc.
- Preparing meeting minutes & project tracking sheets, and communicating with consultants and other internal departments on sustainability related matters, including ESG assessments, audits, and other administrative matters.
- Contributing to Dream's Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Report and assisting with internal/external green teams and working groups.
- Supporting ESG compliance and analysis as required.
Qualifications
In addition to a collaborative mindset and positive attitude, the ideal candidate should be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program, with a focus on Business Management, Building Science/Engineering, Environmental Studies, or Sustainability.
The following skills and qualifications are essential for success:
- Diligence and attention to detail when preparing deliverables.
- A drive to continuously learn from experiences and seek out feedback and development opportunities.
- Ability to work hard and smart to meet demands at key times of pressure.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- A key interest in data analytics and conducting quantitative and qualitative research.
