The Role

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring compliance with tax legislations for BRP's entities outside Canada and US. You'll be responsible for the quality and completeness of the GloBE information return and quarterly consolidated tax provision.

Your Responsibilities

  • Monitor legislative changes to the Canadian Global Minimum Tax Act and corresponding laws worldwide.
  • Develop and maintain processes for filing tax forms related to those measures.
  • Ensure timely analysis and filing of tax returns for BRP subsidiaries outside Canada and US.
  • Maintain alignment between the tax team and finance team for review of the consolidated tax provision.
  • Evaluate and enforce SOX controls under your responsibility.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • A recognized professional title in accounting.
  • A Master's degree in taxation or equivalent.
  • Minimum three years of experience in tax.
  • Excellent knowledge of English (oral and written).
  • Strong management of priorities and deadlines.
