Job Title: Big Data Developer

Work Location: Mississauga, Canada

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop scalable data processing systems using Big Data technologies including Spark, Scala, and Kafka.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines using ETL tools such as Talend.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify business problems and provide data-driven solutions.
  • Develop and maintain strong SQL skills and experience with Linux OS.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in Big Data and data science.
Requirements
  • Experience in Scala programming languages.
  • Experience in Big Data technologies including Spark, Scala, and Kafka.
  • Strong understanding of data structures and algorithms.
  • Ability to test, debug, and fix issues within established SLAs.
  • Strong SQL skills and experience with ETL tools such as Talend.
