WSP Canada is seeking a seasoned Water Quality and Aquatic Health Scientist to join our team in Western Canada.

About the Opportunity

This exciting opportunity will see you leading senior roles on complex water quality projects across Western Canada, working closely with multi-disciplinary teams to deliver high-quality results.

Your Key Responsibilities
  • You will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of water quality and sediment monitoring programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • You will lead project teams through all stages of program design, data collection, assessment, and reporting, providing guidance and support where needed.
  • You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, developing effective solutions to address their water quality concerns.
What We're Looking For
  • 10+ years of experience in environmental science, toxicology, or a related field.
  • Professional registration as a Registered Professional Biologist (College of Applied Biology of British Columbia) or eligible for registration.
  • A strong understanding of BC and CCME water quality guidelines, with the ability to apply this knowledge in practice.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor junior staff.
